This laboratory explores a wide range of projects from the fundamental understanding of life phenomena to the development of life-supporting technologies. Biological systems form a hierarchical structure of molecules, cells, organs to individuals to perform different functions. The essence of life phenomena can be understood through mathematical analysis and models integrating data from the different levels of biological systems, making full use of nanotechnology and multimodal measurement.
Our laboratory belongs to the Department of Human and Engineered Environmental Studies.
