Kotani & Shimba Lab

We aim to elucidate the operating principles of biological systems for medical engineering applications by acquiring information on these systems on various scales with nanotechnology and multimodal measurements and integrating the data from the various scales into mathematical analyses and models.

Our laboratory belongs to the Department of Human and Engineered Environmental Studies.
